Starting Pay:
$22.00 per Hour St. Luke's Home is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and organized Activities & Events Coordinator to create meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of our residents! This position is responsible for planning and coordinating a vibrant calendar of activities, wellness programs, social events, outings, shopping trips, and community excursions. The Activities & Events Coordinator serves as the primary liaison with local organizations, volunteers, churches, schools, businesses, and community partners to bring engaging opportunities to our residents both on-site and throughout the community. The ideal candidate is creative, relationship-focused, and passionate about helping seniors remain active, connected, and engaged! Responsibilities Plan and manage the community activities and events calendar. Coordinate resident outings, shopping trips, field trips, and special events. Develop partnerships with community organizations, volunteers, and local businesses. Coordinate transportation and logistics for resident activities and excursions. Encourage resident participation and engagement in community life. Assist with community tours and help welcome new residents. Support family events, holiday celebrations, and special community gatherings. Promote the mission, values, and culture of St. Luke's through exceptional service and hospitality. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in recreation, hospitality, event planning, communications, or a related field is preferred. Experience coordinating events, activities, programs, or community engagement initiatives preferred. Experience working in a senior living community, assisted living, independent living, memory care, healthcare, hospitality, or a related environment is strongly preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a positive, resident-focused attitude. Must be able to successfully pass a background screening Must have a valid, Arizona driver's license, vehicle insurance, and acceptable MVR Must have or be able to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Must be able to pass a TB screening Schedule Primarily weekday hours, with occasional evenings and weekends required to support resident activities, special events, outings, and community functions.
