Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Events and Broadcast Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of Tier 3 and higher events, ensuring that all required services are secured well in advance through collaboration with our external events partner. This role is also responsible for our Tier 3 livestream, collaborating with our internal team and our external livestream partner(s) to make sure all aspects of the livestream are properly planned, approved and executed. This role would be the primary point of contact for the livestream partner at events.Job Title:
Events and Broadcast Manager, Card Business Reports to: Sr.Manager, Organized Play and Events Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Organized Play and Events and our external events partners to ensure all aspects of Tier 3 and higher events including venues, hotels, and all required services are secured and confirmed in advance. Prepare and manage the pre-event meeting documents, and post-event meeting documents. Responsible for the planning, managing, and execution of all pre-event preparations and post-event logistics to ensure successful event delivery. Work with Organized Play Team to ensure all invoices for events and livestream are being processed and paid in a timely manner in accordance with contractual terms. Collaborate with the rest of the Organized Play team to ensure all event documentation is current and consistently applied across all events. Oversee livestream for Organized Play and Marketing events, ensuring all deliverables are provided in advance in collaboration with Organized Play, Marketing, and R D teams. Partner with TCG Marketing, Digital Marketing, R D, OTS, and Organized Play teams to develop and enhance livestream content. Ensure all livestream content is prepared and approved ahead of each event. Collaborate with our livestream partner on all technical and logistical requirements for each event and provide on-site support to ensure high-quality broadcast execution. Work on-site with the livestream judge team, talent, and writers to coordinate tasks and rehearsals as needed, ensuring smooth event execution. Maintain Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Image database for use at livestream events Provide onsite Main and Public Event operational support at Tier 3 and higher events. Lead and manage post-event recap meetings with internal teams, livestream partners, and Tournament Organizers.General Responsibilities:
Demo Card Business games when needed. General administrative and other duties as assigned.The successful candidate will possess:
Strong leadership, decision making, and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities. Ability to perform duties under minimal supervision while exercising discretion and independent judgment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail. Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills. Excellent strategic planning, budgeting, marketing, and forecasting abilities. Strong working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Strong working knowledge of Asana. The ability to travel.Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 years' experience in entertainment or consumer goods categories, with at least 3 years of relevant event management experience. Extensive tournament or consumer event experience required. MS Access, MS Project, Illustrator or Photoshop skills a plus. Experience supporting live broadcast productions, esports events, or gaming community activations preferred.
