As a family-owned and operated business, we take pride in creating personalized celebrations that reflect each client's unique style and personality. From intimate gatherings of 10 guests to large-scale weddings and events with over 500 attendees, our team is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences through thoughtful planning, creative design, and seamless execution. We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and professional individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and helping create memorable events. Position Details Event shifts typically range from 8-12 hours Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Hours vary based on booked events and seasonal demand 10% commission on events and products directly booked through your referrals Previous event coordination experience preferred (minimum one year), but we are willing to train candidates who are passionate and eager to learn Must be willing to travel to event venues Carpool opportunities may be available; mileage reimbursement provided when applicable Meal provided during event shifts One unpaid meal break and two paid 15-minute rest breaks provided in accordance with California labor laws Professional all-black attire required; comfortable footwear strongly recommended Responsibilities Assist with event setup, styling, décor placement, and preparation of event spaces Confirm vendor arrivals and help direct vendors as needed Support wedding party and VIP arrivals Ensure ceremony, cocktail and reception spaces are guest-ready Assist with ceremony and reception cueing Coordinate timeline execution alongside the lead coordinator Communicate with DJs, photographers, videographers, venue staff, and vendors throughout the event Help guide guests and answer general questions Troubleshoot issues as they arise and assist in implementing solutions Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, and packing of décor and personal items Qualifications Professional, positive, and service-oriented attitude Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods of time Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds Reliable transportation and punctuality are required Team-player mindset with a willingness to jump in wherever needed What We're Looking For At CDE, professionalism is non-negotiable.
