Employee discounts Opportunity for advancement Training & development Description We are looking for a highly organized, solutions-oriented Day-of Event Coordinator to help oversee operations duringSKATESIDE
FEST, a large community event in Culver City bringing together thousands of families for skateboarding, roller skating, music, and activities. Hosted by THE SKATESIDE, a youth program that has introduced skateboarding to over 10,000 kids since 2015, the event focuses on building confidence, community, and positive experiences for youth and families. This role is not for someone who simply reports problems. We are looking for a strong coordinator who can take ownership, solve issues independently when appropriate, keep staff organized and prepared, and ensure guests have a smooth and positive experience throughout the event. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing moving parts in a live event environment.Location:

May 30-31Event Hours:
10:00 AM•5:00 PM (Coordinator must be available before, during, and after event hours) Responsibilities Oversee day-of event operations and staff coordination Ensure booths, activations, and event areas are organized and functioning smoothly Proactively solve operational issues before escalating them Support and guide staff throughout the day to ensure preparedness and professionalism Ensure guests, families, vendors, and partners are taken care of in a positive and timely manner Keep event timelines and transitions on schedule Coordinate with vendors, performers, volunteers, and event leadership Maintain calm communication and leadership during busy or unexpected situations Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall guest experience throughout the event Assist with setup and breakdown operations as neededSimilar jobs in Los Angeles, CA
