In person MacCallum House Inn & Restaurant is seeking an experienced, polished, and service-oriented Wedding & Events Coordinator to support weddings and special events at our upscale historic inn and restaurant in Mendocino. This role is responsible for helping guide clients through the planning process and providing hands-on coordination during event execution to ensure each wedding and special event is thoughtful, well organized, and aligned with the elevated guest experience our property is known for. The ideal candidate will bring strong hospitality instincts, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces with professionalism and care. Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics and timelines, conducting site tours and planning meetings, communicating with clients and vendors, and supporting onsite event flow from setup through completion. Qualified candidates will have prior experience in weddings, events, hospitality, hotel operations, or a related client-facing role, along with the flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. This is an onsite, non-exempt position. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and the ability to work indoors and outdoors depending on event needs.
