Location Ontario Convention Center, Ontario, California Employment Type Temporary / Event Staff Number of Positions 4 Compensation USD $22-33 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking four bilingual (Mandarin & English) VIP Hospitality Assistants to support the VIP Hospitality Program during WTT Grand Smash

This position is ideal for candidates with strong customer service skills who enjoy working in an international sporting event environment. Team members will assist with VIP guest services, wristband and gift distribution, hospitality support, and guest assistance throughout the event. Successful candidates should be professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds. Key ResponsibilitiesVIP Guest Services Welcome and assist VIP guests upon arrival. Provide event information and venue directions. Answer guest questions and provide general assistance. Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere within VIP areas. Wristband & Gift Distribution Distribute VIP wristbands according to event procedures. Verify guest credentials and access eligibility. Distribute gifts, souvenirs, and event materials. Maintain organized inventory and distribution records when required. Hospitality Support Monitor food and beverage service within VIP hospitality areas. Coordinate with catering and service personnel when necessary. Ensure guests receive timely and professional service. Report service-related issues to event supervisors. Guest Assistance Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Assist in resolving minor on-site issues. Escalate concerns to supervisors when appropriate. Support overall guest satisfaction and event operations. Additional Duties Perform other event-related tasks assigned by event management. Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and professional VIP environment. QualificationsRequired Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service attitude. Professional appearance and demeanor. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during event hours. Preferred Experience in sports events, conferences, exhibitions, hospitality programs, customer service, or VIP guest services. Experience working in international events or convention centers. Familiarity with hospitality and guest service standards. Event Schedule & Availability RequirementsEvent Dates July 2, 2026 - July 5, 2026 Candidates must be available to work all event dates. Attendance Requirement Full attendance is mandatory. Applicants must be available for the entire event period and commit to all assigned shifts. No absences, late arrivals, early departures, or schedule conflicts will be permitted during the event dates. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to the full event schedule. Paid Training Requirement All selected candidates must attend one mandatory pre-event training session.
