Part-Time Hospitality Staff

Position Summary Opolo is seeking energetic and hospitality-driven staff members to support winery events, private parties, wine club events, and special experiences throughout the year. This is a part-time, as-needed position based on the event schedule and business needs, with flexibility to assist across different departments during peak periods or when additional support is required, making it ideal for students, retirees, or individuals seeking flexible supplemental income. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is willing to assist in all aspects of event setup, service, and breakdown.

Starting at $20.00 per hour + tips (when applicable) Essential Functions Greet and assist guests in a warm and professional manner Support event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, décor, and service stations Assist with food and wine service during events and special experiences Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event space Refill supplies, clear tables, wash glassware, and assist with general event operations Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to guest needs Work collaboratively with the tasting room, kitchen, and event teams Help ensure events run smoothly and efficiently from start to finish Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service standards Perform additional duties as assigned Working Conditions Position is scheduled on an as-needed basis depending on events and winery activities Flexible schedule with shifts primarily on evenings, weekends, and holidays Ideal for students, retirees, or individuals seeking supplemental part-time work Extended hours may be required during large events or peak seasons Fast-paced and physically active environment Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Hospitality or event experience preferred, but not required Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Must be dependable, punctual, and professional Food Handler and RBS certification required within 30 days of hire As-needed scheduling; hours vary based on business and event needs Please submit resumes to virginiaa@opolo.com.
