  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a major technology client.
  • Build strong client relationships and ensure a high level of service and responsiveness.
  • Translate client objectives into clear event strategies and operational plans.
  • Lead regular planning meetings and provide progress updates to client stakeholders.
  • Become proficient with their software systems including their communication workspace and preferred content management platform. Event Strategy, Planning & Execution
  • Manage the full lifecycle of events from concept through post-event reporting and budgeting.
  • Coordinate internal teams including event management, creative, and production.
  • Ensure client's requests are relayed to the team quickly and thoughtfully.
  • Develop comprehensive event plans and manage information that can be easily translated to various departments and vendors.
  • Organize and prepare your event team with the various responsibilities required by client to successfully execute their event.
  • Source venues as client requests by creating Request for Proposals, manage responses, set up site visits, and negotiate contracts.
  • Create attendee journey mapping and space planning for event including main venue, ancillary and evening events, and offsite activities.
  • Manage vendors, lookbooks and guides including furniture and decor, staffing, catering, cleaning, security, swag, entertainment, transportation, and more.
  • Manage logistics including workback plans, onsite production schedules, event agendas, shipping timelines, staffing schedules, and post event storage and product distribution.
  • Ensure all events reflect the client's brand standards and messaging with Creative team.
  • Anticipate preshow and onsite needs to develop contingency plans.
  • Have a clear understanding of the full event including areas and activities not managed by our company or team.
  • Lead on-site event execution and ensure seamless delivery. Budget & Vendor Management
  • Prepare and maintain budgets for company, client and other vendors.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure projects are delivered within financial parameters.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and manage relationships with venues, production companies, and suppliers.
  • Monitor expenses and provide transparent reporting to both internal leadership and the client.
  • Navigate client's finance process with internal administrative and finance teams to ensure paperwork is accurate and deadlines are met. Team Leadership
  • Lead internal event management and coordinate cross-functional Production and Creative teams supporting the client account.
  • Assist team members as needed to ensure all planning details are confirmed.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to event managers and other team members.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to ensure successful event delivery. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate or agency management.
  • Demonstrated experience producing small to large-scale conferences, product launches, or technology industry events.
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to manage high-profile stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage simultaneous workstreams and complex timelines.
  • Calm under pressure during live production environments.
  • Experience with technology and video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Slack, Whatsapp, Sharepoint or similar tools. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with technology clients.
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar event budgets.
  • Background in event production.
