$51,000 - $60,000 annually Join the Team at Infinity Park The City of Glendale is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Event & Venue Coordinator to join the Infinity Park team. The Event & Venue Coordinator serves as a key member of the Infinity Park Operations team and is responsible for coordinating and executing a diverse portfolio of sporting events, entertainment events, meetings, banquets, festivals, and community functions while delivering exceptional service to clients and guests. This position plays a vital role in the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned events across Infinity Park's Stadium and Event Center. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with clients and vendors, and can successfully manage multiple projects while ensuring operational excellence and an outstanding guest experience. What You'll Do Coordinate and manage assigned events from initial booking through post-event follow-up. Maintain facility bookings, event details, and schedules within Tripleseat. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the event planning process and ensuring a positive customer experience. Conduct pre-event meetings, site visits, and post-event evaluations with clients and internal staff. Create event diagrams, setup plans, room layouts, and event worksheets for facility staff and conversion crews. Coordinate bar service plans, prepare product and service quotes, and assist clients in understanding alcohol service policies and requirements. Coordinate and oversee vendors, caterers, subcontractors, rental companies, janitorial services, and other event service providers. Assist with sponsor activations and promotional partner requirements for game days and special events. Ensure all events comply with contractual agreements, facility policies, and safety requirements. Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency medical services, and internal departments to support safe and successful events. Assist in developing and implementing crowd management, traffic flow, and life safety plans. Enforce facility rules, regulations, and operating procedures. Participate in the development and improvement of facility policies and operational procedures. What We're Looking For Successful candidates will possess: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and competing deadlines simultaneously. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations. Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate challenges before they arise. The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team. Experience supervising vendors, contractors, and event support personnel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with event management software such as Tripleseat and Social Tables is preferred. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, Recreation, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two (2) years of experience coordinating events in a convention center, sports venue, performing arts center, hotel, conference center, or similar large public assembly facility. Special Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must possess, or be able to obtain prior to employment, a valid Colorado driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours based on event schedules. Work Environment This position works in both office and event settings, including indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions. Event assignments regularly require evening, weekend, and holiday work. Noise levels range from quiet office settings to loud event environments. The position requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
