This role is responsible for managing all aspects of private event planning and execution, including lead generation, prospect outreach, booking coordination, event logistics, and onsite event support. This job requires daily travel throughout Connecticut with night and weekend shifts mandatory! The ideal candidate is highly organized, guest-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position plays a key role in driving restaurant sales and profitability by creating exceptional event experiences that exceed guest expectations and reflect our company standards. Responsibilities Event Sales & Client Communication Respond to guest inquiry forms within 24 hours Conduct follow-up outreach to secure bookings and maintain client relationships Continually prospect and generate new event leads Prepare and send event proposals, contracts, and confirmations Coordinate all event details including timelines, setup needs, menus, and special requests Event Coordination & Execution Attend and oversee all events with 50+ guests Ensure proper food execution and high-quality service standards for all events Coordinate staffing needs and confirm team members are prepared and in proper uniform Partner with restaurant management to ensure all event materials and products are onsite and ready, including food, linens, décor, and equipment Follow up with guests after events to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback Administrative & Software Management Manage all event activity within TripleSeat event software including: Converting leads into booked events Maintaining the event calendar Posting event details Processing and recording payments Closing out completed events and documenting notes/issues Maintain accurate records and event documentation Qualifications & Skills Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Positive, upbeat, and solution-oriented attitude Strong team player with a collaborative mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer software Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required 3-5 years of catering or private events experience preferred 5-7 years of full-service restaurant management experience preferred Experience with TripleSeat or similar event booking software is a plus If you are passionate about hospitality, events, and delivering exceptional guest experiences, we would love to hear from you!
