Job Title:
Bilingual Conference Support Staff Location:
Washington, DC (Convention Center - Metro Accessible)
Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking professional, fully bilingual staff to support an international medical conference in Washington, DC. This role involves assisting attendees, providing directions, and supporting event operations for a large group of physicians, many of whom are from Latin America. Candidates must be fluent in both English and Spanish and comfortable engaging with an international audience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist conference attendees in both English and Spanish Provide directions and general event information Support registration and attendee check-in processes Assist event organizers with on-site logistics and coordination Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at all times
Schedule Requirements:
Wednesday, May 13 - Sunday, May 17: 12 staff needed daily Monday, May 18: 3 staff needed for event breakdown and wrap-up
Dress Code:
Black pants and white shirt required Red jackets will be provided on-site Black shoes (sneakers permitted if clean and professional)
Additional Information:
Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish required) Parking expenses will not be reimbursed; the venue is accessible via public transportation (Metro) Leads and supervision will be provided on-site
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Previous event or customer service experience preferred This is a great opportunity to gain experience working at a high-profile international conference while utilizing your bilingual skills.
