Facility Event/Gameday Setup (Evenings & Weekends)

Job Description:

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and hardworking team member to help keep our sports facility operating smoothly during evening hours and special events. This is a hands-on, active role that involves setting up and breaking down sports equipment, preparing courts and event spaces, and ensuring the facility is clean, organized, and ready for guests, leagues, tournaments, and rentals. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically active, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a professional and organized environment. Responsibilities Set up and break down sports equipment for leagues, practices, rentals, tournaments, and events Prepare courts and event spaces according to scheduling needs Set up and organize tables, chairs, seating areas, and event layouts Properly store equipment after use and maintain organized storage areas Re-rack weights and fitness equipment at the end of the night Assist with tournament and special event preparation Move sports equipment, nets, goals, barriers, and other facility materials as needed Perform end-of-night walkthroughs to ensure facility cleanliness and readiness for the next day Help maintain a safe and professional environment for guests and athletes Communicate with management regarding facility needs, damages, or supply shortages Assist staff with general operational tasks as needed Schedule Primarily weekday evenings/nights Occasional weekends depending on tournaments and special events Part-time hours with opportunities for additional event shifts Requirements Must be able to lift and move 30+ pounds regularly Comfortable performing physical work and being active throughout shifts Ability to move heavier equipment safely when required Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to work independently and follow setup instructions Strong work ethic and positive attitude Previous sports facility, gym, warehouse, or event setup experience is a plus, but not required Ideal Candidate Enjoys active, hands-on work Takes initiative and works efficiently Organized and detail-oriented Team player with a professional attitude Comfortable working in a fast-paced sports environment

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
