JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is located in the Department of Physical Therapy within the College of Public Health and Health Professions and serves the Brooks-UF PHHP Research Collaboration. The mission of this research collaboration is to advance high-quality rehabilitation research to improve clinical care and outcomes. Primary responsibilities include providing administrative support, assisting with marketing and communications initiatives, and coordinating event and activities for the Brooks-UF PHHP Research Collaboration.
These responsibilities include:
Administrative Assistance Provide administrative support to the Brooks-UF PHHP Research Collaboration Create meeting agendas and transcribe meeting minutes Assist with additional administrative responsibilities as needed Marketing & Communications (Digital/Web) Update and maintain website design and content, implement requested changes, and maximize website optimization. Develop engaging content, such as newsletters and multimedia assets for events Design and update graphic materials for events, programs, and marketing initiatives Event Planning & Coordination Coordinate event logistics, including room reservations, calendar invitations, agendas, attendance tracking, and catering requests. Responsibilities may require occasional evening or weekend work and travel to Jacksonville, FL. Adhere to university and state fiscal policies and procedures (e.g., alcohol policies, facilities requirements, etc.)
EXPECTED SALARY
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour; commensurate with education and experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in a relevant field or two years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of work and education.
