Our venue, Violet's Garage , hosts intimate parties, wine tastings, craft classes, and social events for guests who enjoy great drinks, local culture, and creative experiences. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to manage and grow our private events, craft classes, and tasting experiences. The ideal candidate is a natural organizer with a creative spark, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. You'll be responsible for coordinating events from concept to completion—ensuring each guest leaves with an unforgettable Violet's Venom Brewery experience. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute all brewery and venue events, including private parties, wine tastings, and craft classes. Manage event inquiries, bookings, and client communications from initial contact through post-event follow-up. Collaborate with owners, vendors, and staff to ensure smooth event logistics (setup, décor, catering, entertainment, etc.). Create and maintain event timelines, floor plans, and checklists. Assist with marketing and social media promotions for upcoming events and experiences. Track event budgets, invoices, and inventory related to event supplies. Ensure compliance with all safety, alcohol service, and venue policies. Provide on-site event support and act as the primary point of contact for guests during events. Contribute creative ideas to enhance the guest experience and increase event bookings. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field (brewery, winery, or restaurant experience a plus). Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedule. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; experience with social media marketing tools is a plus.
