Executive Meeting Manager Doubletree by Hilton Orlando Airport - 3.6 Orlando, FL Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Productivity software Full Job Description Exciting opportunity to join the Doubletree by Hilton Orlando Airport as an Executive Meeting Manager. The Executive Meeting Manager (EMM) drives revenue by booking and executing small to mid-sized corporate meetings, conferences, and social events. They act as the primary liaison between the client and hotel/venue staff. They manage everything from proactive sales and contract negotiations to catering, Audio/Visual (A/V) coordination, and on-site event execution.
Responsibilities:
Proactively prospect and secure new group business. Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a timely manner. Conduct client site inspections and deliver presentations. Negotiate rates, concessions, and event contracts. Draft detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for all groups. Coordinate food, beverage, room blocks, and A/V needs. Supervise on-site event execution to guarantee client satisfaction. Act as the main point of contact during the event. Facilitate post-event follow-up to solidify repeat business. Meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in catering, sales, or event planning. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales software. Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. We're 10 miles from downtown Orlando and within a half-hour of Walt Disney World Resort, SeaWorld Orlando, and Universal Studios.
