As an integral part of our events team, you will help create memorable experiences for attendees while driving effective marketing strategies that boost engagement and visibility. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills in event planning, marketing, customer service, and hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with the planning and coordination of events, including venue setup, catering arrangements, and guest management Support event marketing initiatives by creating promotional materials, managing social media campaigns, and engaging with target audiences Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally during events Oversee event logistics on the day of the event, ensuring smooth operations from registration to cleanup Collaborate with catering teams, banquet staff, hotel personnel, or restaurant partners to coordinate seamless event execution Assist with post-event evaluations and follow-up marketing efforts to maximize future engagement opportunities Maintain organized records of contracts, vendor contacts, event schedules, and feedback for continuous improvement Experience Previous experience in event planning or management is highly desirable Background in hospitality, restaurant service, hotel operations or banquet service provides valuable insight into guest needs and service standards Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and partners Proven ability in marketing or promotional activities—especially in event marketing—demonstrating creativity and strategic thinking Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and guests effectively Skilled in time management to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Experience working within budgets and managing expenses accurately Familiarity with contracts related to event services and catering arrangements is a plus Knowledge of fundraising or guest services enhances ability to create engaging experiences for diverse audiences Join us as an Event Assistant and Marketer where your enthusiasm fuels memorable events!
