Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pro-Life Christian Development Coordinator to champion the mission mission of life for those in unplanned pregnancies by administratively supporting the Development Director. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by using your administrative skills to coordinate and complete tasks for the activities in the fund raising and development department along with events empowering others to become the hero of the story. The position is 3 days a week, standard business hours with the exception of 4 events annually.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Development Director and team with development tasks, events and relationships with our churches and supporters. Specifically, assisting with the donor response plan, fund-raising event tasks, and providing administrative support in office. Position is assisting and administrative.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
A commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior Full agreement with Choices Women's Clinic Mission and Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, and policies and procedures of the clinic Associates or a minimum of 3 years of experience in related field Strong understanding of fundraising and a demonstrable knowledge of development, communications, and marketing, demonstrated success in relationship building Excellent organizational skills, dependable, stable, and capable of following through on commitments Computer skills and competence in Microsoft programs. (Word, Excel, Power Point) Multi-Tasking abilities and flexibility Self-Motivated, self-driven and can work independently Ability to organize teams and work with a variety of staff and volunteers to execute plans and events • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage timely and professional responses Flexible and able to multi-task and manage a variety of tasks with interruptions Highly professional and maintains office professionalism and works well within a team
RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERAL OFFICE:
Maintain organizational records for all administrative development applications.
Participate in staff meetings:
Development Team (Weekly) and All Staff (Monthly), Others (as needed).
DONOR MANAGEMENT
Work in donor database and event management programs to capture data, update records, and track data for partnerships. Meet with Development Director and Team weekly to review prioritization and administrative development tasks. Assist the Development Team with analyzing donor data. Execute all mail merge and oversight of collation for: monthly donor letters and others as needed.
EVENTS:
Assist Development Director with administrative tasks as directed for our major fund-raising events according to the event timelines: Walk, Founders Dinner, Friendsgiving, Thankful Campaign, etc. Setting up functions and hospitality needs/meals for in-house events: board meetings, staff meetings, pre-events for fundraising, talks and tours as needed. Attend and fully participate in the special events of the ministry.
DONOR/CHAMPION & COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Provide administrative support with the donor response plan for in-kind baby gifts, handwritten notes for certain level gifts, calls to supporters to thank them and capture personal data. Assist with tours to engage partners in the ministry when requested and needed. Provide on-site oversight of activities for assigned work teams and baby showers if needed.
OTHER:
Assists Development Director, Executive Director, and Community Relations Manager with other tasks when time permits and when called upon.
