Testing Operations Manager Location:
Pensacola, FL Travel:
Required (Local and National Events) About Skillmasters Skillmasters delivers objective player performance testing and analytics at elite youth soccer tournaments and club environments. Our platform helps players, coaches, and clubs better understand player development through standardized testing and reliable data capture. Position Summary The Testing Operations & Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating Skillmasters testing events at both tournaments and club environments. This role ensures that testing sessions run smoothly from initial planning through final results delivery. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with soccer coaches, directors, internal teams, and contracted testers to ensure high-quality testing execution and accurate data capture. Key Responsibilities Testing Event Planning & Coordination Coordinate with the sales team to determine availability and scheduling of club and tournament testing events. Communicate with club directors and coaches to confirm testing logistics including: event dates and times, testing locations, field setup requirements, session structure and flow Gather and finalize player rosters for testing sessions. Ensure rosters are uploaded and properly configured within internal systems prior to events. Coordinate event communications through internal systems for preparation, scheduling, and marketing purposes. Pre-Event Preparation Confirm all testing logistics prior to events including field setup, equipment needs, and participant information. Ensure testing systems are prepared with correct player profiles and data structure. Coordinate with the product team to confirm system readiness and data flow. Identify and resolve any potential data or system issues before testing begins. Event Execution & Facilitation Facilitate Skillmasters testing sessions at tournament and club events. Ensure proper testing setup, station flow, and adherence to testing protocols. Troubleshoot testing equipment and systems during events as needed. Support coaches and testers to ensure testing runs efficiently and accurately. Results & Data Management Ensure testing results are processed and published following events. Provide physical results or reports to players, testers, or coaches when required. Review data for accuracy and identify areas that may require adjustments or clarification. Work with the product team to resolve any data or reporting inconsistencies. Tester (Contractor) Coordination Schedule and manage Skillmasters testing facilitators (1099 contractors). Ensure appropriate staffing levels for each testing event. Oversee contractor onboarding, training, and ongoing vetting. Coordinate post-event payments for testing facilitators. Qualifications & Skills Strong organizational and logistical planning abilities Exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple moving parts across events and timelines Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Familiarity with soccer and ability to communicate effectively with coaches and club leadership Comfort troubleshooting technology and equipment used during testing Ability to work independently and take initiative to ensure successful event execution Must be comfortable providing direction and instruction to large groups of players, coaches, and families during live events Professional, energetic, and engaging presence with the ability to serve as a positive face of the company at tournaments and testing events Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset Willingness to travel and support events as needed Work Environment This is a Pensacola office-based role to support coordination, preparation, inventory management, and organization of event equipment and materials Combination of office-based administrative planning and on-site event operations Frequent weekend travel for tournament events Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and hands-on problem solving
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
