Development Coordinator (Part Time) Administration - Orlando, FL 32817 Apply Overview Salary Range $19.00 - $21.00 Hourly Apply Description Looking to make a difference in an innovative and dynamic non-profit agency? UCP of Central Florida unlocks the potential of thousands of children each year at our campuses, pediatric therapy clinics and parent support programs.
Job Summary:
The Development Coordinator works closely with the development team to support the agency Development/Fundraising Plan. Special Events Support logistical elements of the agency's special events including Gala, Breakfast, Book Buds, development events, and other events. This includes, but is not limited to, food and beverage, table set up, silent and live auctions, committee support, mailings, follow up, volunteer needs, venue coordination, production elements, onsite coordination, etc. Assist in soliciting of silent auction and table sponsorships. Volunteer Management Track volunteer applications, clearances, and placement of volunteers. Ensure all compliance related volunteer responsibilities including background screenings, completion of all paperwork and tracking of hours as well as other compliance related efforts. Create a quarterly volunteer newsletter. Donor Management Maintain donor database, ensuring all donor and guest information is entered into donor management software, necessary thank you and acknowledgement letters are generated timely and accurately (within 48 hours of receipt) Produce accurate reports to be utilized for database/mailing/programs, etc. Track payments/produce monthly reminders for Miracle for Children Society Members and General Pledges Ensure that donor stewardship and cultivation activity is accurately recorded in the Donor Perfect. General/Other Identify and secure speaking/networking opportunities (i.e. Rotary Clubs, Chamber Events) Attend, assist and represent UCP of Central Florida at various key fundraising events/functions, speaking engagements, tours, and other programs to increase professional network, refine relationship management skills, and enhance UCP's outreach and capacity. Assist in coordinating and implementation of social media related to development/fundraising activities. Identify and assist in the content development of the UCP website related to development. Maintain development materials and all materials needed for presentations and outreach. Design and maintain an annual organizational calendar of donor stewardship activities and strategies that advance annual donors. This includes events, tours, stewardship reports, etc. Update Monthly Development Dashboard Report Perform administrative duties as needed including filing, copying, sorting, mailing, etc. Assist with the creation and implementation of the Annual Development Plan that incorporates a range of strategies including annual appeals, major donors, family foundation grants, corporate and individual appeals, social media and special events. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Training:
Bachelors degree preferred in related field (extensive related job experience may substitute) Minimum Experience/Skills Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills; Professional appearance; Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication Proficiency in Microsoft office suites and other Strong computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Ability to travel in geographic area and work flexible hours, including some nights and/or weekends; Ability to conceptualize the agency mission and vision and to communicate the concept to others effectively and with desired results; Ability to maintain poise and to portray an image of professionalism as defined by the agency in all circumstances; Documented history of successful special event experience; Ability to build rapport and build relationships with internal team members and external supporters, donors, and volunteers; Demonstrate excellent judgment in maintaining confidentiality; Exhibit a high degree of integrity and character with professionalism and commitment to excellence, both with internal and external audien ces.
