DESCRIPTION
The Associate Event Manager
  • Pharma Congress promotes goodwill for ITA Group by providing prompt, courteous and exceptional service to internal and external customers at all times. The Associate Event Manager
  • Pharma Congress will assist and (where applicable) develop and operate travel programs for existing clients while providing a level of support to the internal team members that exceeds expectations. This position will assist in the development and maintenance of key suppliers, congress associations, and client relationships. The Associate Event Manager
  • Pharma Congress will assist the Event Managers (EMs), Sr.
Event Managers, Travel Accounts Representatives (TARs) and Sr. Travel Account Representatives in their efforts to operate successful and profitable travel programs for ITA Group. They will also assist the Event Coordinators when necessary.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines. Associates degree with two years of work experience or a bachelor's degree is required. Good mathematical skills. Ability to handle numerous projects and to prioritize workload; effective organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams for Windows. Ability to learn registration / website platform systems and become proficient. Effective problem-solving skills. Ability to provide back-up assistance to EMs and Sr. EMs who are out of the office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily.
