Whether supporting corporate gatherings, weddings, or community celebrations, you'll play a key role in transforming spaces into stunning venues that leave lasting impressions. Paid positions are available for both entry-level and experienced candidates eager to contribute to memorable events. Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of event setups, including arranging furniture, decor, lighting, and signage to match event themes. Decorate venues with flowers, linens, banners, and other decorative elements to create visually appealing environments. Coordinate with clients and vendors to understand decor requirements and ensure timely delivery and installation. Manage setup timelines efficiently to meet event schedules while maintaining high standards of presentation. Break down and pack up event setups after events conclude, ensuring all equipment and decorations are accounted for and stored properly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, tools, and supplies used during setup and teardown. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless coordination during all phases of event preparation. Experience Previous experience in event planning, decorating, or hospitality environments such as hotels, restaurants, or catering services is highly desirable. Familiarity with banquet setup, catering arrangements, or venue management enhances your ability to excel in this role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members effectively. Knowledge of budgeting principles related to decor items and event supplies is a plus. Experience with event marketing or upselling techniques can contribute to enhancing client satisfaction. A background in customer service or guest services helps create positive experiences for clients during setup.
