Augusta, GA Job Details Full-time $15.50 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Paid time off 403(b) Life insurance Qualifications Organizing community events 5 years Mid-level Refund processing Event scheduling Lease or rental agreement management Bachelor's degree Sales quoting Initial Contact (sales skills) Prospecting Sales strategy Corporate sales environment Corporate event planning Event setup Deposits Guest services Customer site (as sales environment) Event sales Full Job Description Scheduled hours will rotate including some weekends: Full Time (39 hours per week) This position will focus on the outside sales of the facility: including but not limited to weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate meeting and events. Coordinator will work closely with the customer to ensure appropriate accommodations including video and sound equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists the Sales & Events Manager with developing sales plans, identify new prospects and set appointments. Works in conjunction with The Kroc Centers Program Department for each scheduled event. Works in conjunction with The Kroc Centers Membership and Guest Services Coordinator with scheduling tours of the facility and organizing open houses for local civic groups, parties, and social groups. Quotes prices for facility rentals, schedules events in the scheduling system. Maintains rental agreements to include processing deposits/payments and refunds of deposits. Ensures customers adhere to rental agreement terms and conditions: adhering to schedule, set up and clean up. Works with Finance Department to ensure all payments are processed accurately.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying moderately heavy (25-50lbs). Working daily with individuals and groups selling facility rentals, several walking tours of the facility. Majority of work is performed indoors in an office setting.
