Job Description

Stone Crossing Event Center is hiring event-day team members to support weddings at our venue. We are currently looking for individuals for two roles: Event Host and Day-Of Coordinator. These positions are ideal for people who are professional, calm under pressure, service-minded, and confident managing event-day logistics in a fast-paced wedding environment.
Event Host Pay:
$25/hour
Typical Shift:
11:45 AM through dinner service (about 6pm) The Event Host serves as the on-site venue representative for events that do not include coordination services. This role is focused on venue readiness, client and vendor support related to the venue, monitoring the property throughout the event, and escalating issues when needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Open the venue and complete readiness checks
  • Review venue cleanliness and report issues
  • Provide venue-related support to clients, planners, coordinators, and vendors
  • Assist with approved movement of venue items only
  • Monitor alcohol perimeter and parking areas
  • Communicate venue-related concerns clearly and promptly
Day-Of Coordinator Pay:
$500 flat rate
Typical Commitment:
  • Wedding day: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Rehearsal:
approx. 1 hour, day before event The Day-Of Coordinator is the lead event execution contact for coordination-package clients. This role includes all Event Host responsibilities, plus management of ceremony flow, timeline execution, assigned décor, vendor communication, guest transitions, and end-of-night wrap-up.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform all Event Host responsibilities
  • Complete assigned décor setup and takedown
  • Attend final walkthrough and rehearsal meetings
  • Manage ceremony lineup, processional flow, and event timeline
  • Communicate with vendors regarding timing and transitions
  • Assist with guest movement and event flow
  • Provide dress/train support when needed
