Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Coordinator to lead the planning, organization, and execution of a wide variety of events. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and specific requirements for each event Develop comprehensive event plans covering venue selection, catering, entertainment, decor, and logistics Negotiate contracts with vendors including caterers, decorators, entertainment providers, and venue managers Coordinate event marketing efforts to promote events effectively across various channels Manage budgets meticulously to maximize value while maintaining quality standards Oversee all aspects of event setup and breakdown, ensuring timely execution and adherence to safety protocols Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance client satisfaction and revenue generation Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the planning process Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement Qualifications Proven experience in event planning or management within hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or banquet settings Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms with vendors and partners Excellent marketing knowledge to promote events effectively and increase attendance Experience in upselling services or products during event sales processes Familiarity with event marketing strategies and tools for outreach and engagement Demonstrated ability in budgeting, contracts management, and cost control Outstanding customer service skills combined with excellent communication abilities Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management capabilities Previous banquet or catering experience is highly desirable Knowledge of guest services standards within hospitality environments such as hotels or restaurants Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure Join us as an Event Coordinator and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences!
