EAT authentic Italian food at our restaurants, cafés and to-go countersSHOP a selection of high-quality Italian, local and homemade productsLEARN through our classes and our team's product knowledgeJob DescriptionThe Education and Events Lead is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly's mission through events and educational programming. Reports to the Education & Events Manager.

Executes public and private in-person events including: specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes, group reservations, press events, tastings and private receptionsSupervises staff members during events to ensure smooth executionWrites and monitors class descriptions; compiles instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) and sales contracts; creates class registration pages onlineCommunicates with guests regarding class and event registrationFosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning eventsBuilds and manages client lists and relationshipsUpdates event needs including recipe cards, creating posters, department inventory, etc.

Performs other duties as required or assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree3+ years of experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing or event planningExcellent organizational, project management and time management skillsOutstanding professional communication and editorial skillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of Italian wine and gastronomyProficiency in Italian language preferredAvailability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
Compensation:
