- Full-time Overview We are seeking dynamic and dedicated Fundraiser and University Event Coordinators to join our organization.
In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising initiatives, cultivating donor relationships, and coordinating a diverse range of university events. Your efforts will directly support our mission to enhance educational programs and foster community engagement through successful events and strategic fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for hospitality and event management. Duties Plan, organize, and oversee university events including galas, conferences, and community outreach programs, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion Develop comprehensive event marketing strategies to maximize attendance and engagement across diverse audiences Coordinate catering, banquet arrangements, and venue logistics in collaboration with vendors, ensuring high standards of guest services and hospitality Manage event budgets meticulously, negotiating contracts with vendors and venues to optimize resources while maintaining quality standards Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to support fundraising goals through effective negotiation and upselling techniques Implement innovative fundraising campaigns utilizing marketing channels to increase donations and donor retention Oversee all aspects of event promotion, including social media outreach, email marketing, and on-site branding efforts Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, licensing requirements, and health & safety regulations during all events Provide exceptional customer service to guests and attendees by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Track event performance metrics, prepare reports for stakeholders, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Skills Proven experience in event planning, management, or hospitality roles such as banquet service or hotel operations Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts with vendors and sponsors Expertise in marketing strategies specific to event promotion and fundraising initiatives Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences effectively Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and contract negotiations Experience in catering coordination or restaurant/hospitality environments is highly desirable Knowledge of guest services standards within hotel or banquet settings Ability to utilize time management tools efficiently to prioritize tasks Familiarity with event management software and social media platforms for marketing purposes Join our team as a Fundraiser and University Event Coordinator if you are passionate about creating memorable events that inspire community involvement while advancing educational causes.
