The Burmese American Community Institute (BACI) is a dynamic, forward-looking, and growing organization. We seek well-qualified, highly motivated, creative, and solutions-oriented candidates to join us. This position participates and assists with coordination activities of staff, convention personnel, or clients to make arrangements for group meetings, events, or conferences. Responsibilities Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing events and meetings. Support the coordination of event logistics, including venue arrangements, transportation, accommodation, catering, and signage. Help manage event registration and participant communications. Work with event staff and venue teams to ensure event spaces meet required setup and capacity needs. Assist in arranging audio-visual equipment, displays, and other materials needed for events. Monitor event activities to ensure participant satisfaction and help resolve issues during events. Help coordinate with vendors, service providers, and suppliers such as hotels and event facilities. Support the preparation of event programs, agendas, and schedules. Assist with maintaining records related to event planning, budgets, and expenses. Review invoices and help track event-related payments. Contribute to event promotion and outreach efforts, including marketing and publicity support. Participate in post-event evaluations and help prepare reports with recommendations for future improvements. Assist in communicating with sponsors, speakers, and partners as needed.
