Start:
Thursday, June 4, 2026 We are seeking reliable, customer-focused Event Staff to support the Kansas City Auto Show taking place at the Overland Park Convention Center. We are hiring for both Ticket Kiosk Assistants and Ticket Scanners . Candidates should be professional, comfortable standing for long periods, and able to provide excellent attendee support in a fast-paced event environment. Open Positions Ticket Kiosk Assistant (1 Opening) Responsibilities include: Monitor ticket kiosks and ensure machines are functioning properly Refill kiosk paper and troubleshoot minor issues as needed Assist attendees with ticket purchases Answer general event questions and provide customer support Remain on feet for the majority of the shift Ticket Scanner (2 Openings) Responsibilities include: Monitor self-service ticket scanners at show entrances Scan attendee tickets and assist with entry Provide excellent customer service and answer attendee questions Ensure a smooth and organized guest experience Remain on feet for the majority of the shift Schedule Thursday, June 4: 11:30 AM
  • 8:00 PM Friday, June 5: 9:30 AM
  • 8:00 PM Saturday, June 6: 9:30 AM
  • 8:00 PM Sunday, June 7: 9:30 AM
  • 5:00 PM Candidates should be available for the full event run if possible.
Requirements Strong customer service and communication skills Dependable and punctual Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods Professional demeanor and positive attitude Previous event experience is a plus but not required Dress Code Black or grey dress pants Black or white button-down shirt or polo Business casual appearance Comfortable shoes required ( no dress shoes )
