POSITION SUMMARY

The Banquet Team Member will assist with all aspects of event, bar, catering and/or food & beverage operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING

Assists guests with questions about the event/facility Coordinates and executes tasks based on the Banquet Event Order (BEO) for each event Assists with all aspects of event setup and tear-down Serves as the bar back for single/multiple bar stations during events Assists with catering responsibilities including food/buffet/beverage delivery, setup, serving, clearing, etc. Helps provide timely client and guest feedback to the leadership team Oversees and assists in post-event cleaning as needed Relay important information about additional orders, allergies, and/or special requests Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations Complete any other special projects and daily assignments as directed by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1-2 years of appropriate experience required Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills Must be a team player Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidays Must be age 21 or older

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl The employee is exposed to cleaning chemicals that must be handled with extreme caution While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in outside weather conditions and can be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions Significant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling Will be required to operate a computer Facility has intermittent noise
