Job Description
DUTIES:
Coordinate and oversee athletic events hosted by the high school.
Plan and organize event logistics for assigned athletic contests and activities.
Communicate with coaches, officials, visiting teams, administration, and support staff regarding event needs and expectations.
Arrange and supervise game-day operations, including ticketing, crowd flow, supervision, and facility readiness.
Ensure athletic venues are properly prepared for contests, including equipment, seating, signage, and event setup.
Assist with scheduling event workers, supervisors, security, and other support personnel as needed.
Monitor events to help ensure safety, good sportsmanship, and compliance with school and district expectations.
Support a positive and welcoming atmosphere for student-athletes, families, officials, and community members.
Address operational issues during events in a timely and professional manner.
Recommend needed equipment, supplies, and improvements related to athletic event operations.
Maintain communication with school administration and athletic staff regarding event planning and concerns.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Certified
Kentucky Department of Education certification
Must meet the requirements of a criminal record check(s) as specified by Kentucky State Law
Must meet health requirements as specified in the district personnel policy
Classified
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience in athletics, event coordination, school activities, or related field preferred
Must meet the requirements of a criminal record check(s) as specified by Kentucky State Law
