Expansion of Duties:
Knowing our full menu and what is included in our inclusive package. Oversee, execute, and manage events. Going over contractual agreements with clients. Filing away contracts and vendor invoices. Establish contact with the primary client(s) and vendors for the event- review paperwork, special requests, and expectations with staff and the kitchen team. Uphold décor standards of client and for events
- including, but not limited to, buffets, small wares, glassware, props, lighting, flowers, colors, etc. Create staff schedules and confirm with staff the events they are working on
- assure staff is assigned duties for the event and ensure prompt arrival time team and everyone is dressed in proper uniform. Daily Tours / Event Setup
- Walk all event grounds and gardens and ensure the room is set up and ready to go as per client(s) preferences.
What we need from you:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience 2+ Years of Catering and/or Hotel Banquet Management Client Management in a high-profile setting is a plus Strong Computer Skills (we utilize Filemaker database on Macs, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe) Servsafe Responsible Vendors card and knowledge of LA State Labor Laws What you'll get from us: Salary (to be discussed in person) Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana Medical Insurance Paid Time off 7 days- after 1 year of employment Paid sick leave: 5 days after 1 year of employment Paid time off & sick leave days cannot be accumulated year after year.
