Great Job for Retirees, Part-Timers, School Teachers, Coaches and Much more A Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the Events we protect. A Security Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the Event.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including: Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat Must have a professional appearance Display exceptional customer service and communication skills Must have open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays Must have a valid driver's license or Valid photo ID Must have reliable transportation Experience not required, but preferred
