Job Description

Part-Time Events Assistant - Restaurant Group | Boston, MA We are seeking a motivated, organized, and hospitality-driven Events Assistant to join our growing restaurant group in Boston on a part-time basis . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and wants to play a key role in executing private events and day-to-day event operations. The Events Assistant will work closely with the events team and restaurant staff to ensure events are executed seamlessly from planning through completion. This position requires flexibility, strong communication, and a hands-on approach.
Responsibilities:
Assist with overseeing and executing private events and special functions Read, understand, and execute details outlined in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) Work directly with restaurant managers and staff to ensure smooth event flow Support event setup, service coordination, and guest experience Adapt quickly to changes and troubleshoot in real time Take direction and assist with operational needs as they arise Help maintain organization and communication across all event details
Qualifications:
Previous hospitality experience required Bartending experience is a plus but not required (additional bar shifts may be available for candidates with prior bartending experience) Excellent organization and time management skills Personable, professional, and hospitable demeanor Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and attention to detail Comfortable taking instruction and collaborating with multiple teams Weekend availability is required If you're passionate about hospitality, enjoy events, and are looking for an opportunity to grow within a dynamic restaurant group, we'd love to hear from you.
Pay:
$19.00 - $26.00 per hour
