Job Description

Events Coordinator (Part-Time) Polkadog is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable Events Coordinator to support our Events Manager and help bring the Polkadog experience to farmers markets, festivals, apartment communities, in-store events, and other local events throughout the Greater Boston area. Many events will be staffed independently, so the ideal candidate is confident working on their own, making decisions, and delivering an exceptional customer experience without direct supervision.
Responsibilities:
Off-Site Events Transport, set up, and break down Polkadog event booths Create a fun, welcoming experience for customers and their pets Hand out samples, coupons, and promotional materials Educate customers about Polkadog products, stores, and brand values Process sales using our point-of-sale system Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised booth throughout each event In-Store Events Assist with in-store events and coordinate with external vendors as needed day of Pet Perks Program Manage and grow our Pet Perks apartment partnership program Communicate with participating property managers and residents Provide customer support for program members Schedule and execute resident events at participating communities Track memberships, discounts, and program participation Additional Responsibilities Assist the Events Manager with event planning, logistics, and other projects as needed Capture photos and videos for marketing and social media while at events
Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about providing excellent customer service Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working independently and confidently at events representing Polkadog Available to work weekends and occasional weeknight events Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Previous retail, event, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
