The Assistant Event Manager will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to support and elevate the overall management of banquet operations, providing leadership to captains and service staff. This role ensures event setups, staffing, and service execution exceeds guest expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversee daily banquet operations, including simultaneous events Attend Weekly EO meetings, aligning Sales Team with Operations Review EOs and ensure all setups align with event specifications Assist with scheduling, staffing levels, and timekeeping accuracy Train and coach captains and banquet service staff Respond to and resolve guest issues and operational challenges with measured care Support inventory control of linens, equipment, and supplies Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and service standards Oversee bar staffing levels, bar setup standards, and inventory usage Ensures compliance with alcohol laws, ID checks, and safety protocols.
