We host high-energy, 100% private events built around unique activities like Bubble Ball, Hamster Balls, Glow Dodgeball, Nerf, Archery Tag, our Game Show Experience, video games, and more. Our team is known for professionalism, strong leadership, and creating "WOW" moments for every guest. The Role The Arena Lead Coordinator is the host, the leader, and the engine of every event. Coordinators support the event. The Lead runs it. From the first welcome to the final goodbye, you set the energy, keep the timeline on track, lead the floor team, and own whether the event hits the Wonderfly standard. You are the voice of the room. You emcee the experience, hype the crowd, explain the games, host the Game Show, and make every guest feel like the event was built for them. When something changes mid-event, you make the call and keep things moving. Leads are the people our Managers and General Managers trust to run a great event without being told how. This is a leadership role, and it starts with two non-negotiables: showing up early and bringing the energy every single time. Key Focus Areas (What You'll Be Great At)
Hosting & Emceeing:
Command the room with confident, upbeat energy. Welcome guests, explain activities, narrate the action, and host the Game Show like a pro.
Event Ownership & Flow:
Run the event end to end. Keep the timeline on track, adapt when plans change, and land every transition smoothly.
Team Leadership:
Direct and support the Coordinators on shift. Put people in the right spots, delegate clearly, and coach in the moment.
Reliability & Punctuality:
Arrive early and event-ready, every time. The event depends on you being there and being prepared.
Safety & Judgment:
Explain and enforce the rules with confidence, spot risk early, and handle guest issues calmly.
Facility Standards:
Own a clean, stocked, guest-ready facility before, during, and after every event. What Success Looks Like Guests feel the energy the moment they walk in and stay engaged from start to finish. The event runs on time, every game lands, and transitions feel effortless. The Game Show and group activities are hosted with confidence and personality. Coordinators on your shift know their roles and are set up to succeed. The facility is spotless and reset, ready for the next event. MODs and GMs trust you to run the event without checking in.
Key Responsibilities:
Hosting & Emceeing Deliver a high-energy welcome and set the tone for the entire event Use confident, upbeat "patter" to hype the group and explain activities clearly Host the Game Show Experience and lead group competitions, scoring, and finales Run the mic and AV for corporate events, speeches, toasts, and presentations Read the room and adjust your energy and approach for kids, teens, adults, and corporate groups Event Leadership & Flow Review event notes (timeline, layout, special requests) before guests arrive and brief your team Own the event timeline and keep the group moving through transitions on schedule Check in with the host or organizer throughout and deliver on special requests Make real-time decisions when plans change and escalate to the MOD or GM when needed Team Leadership & Coaching Direct Coordinators on shift, assign roles, and keep everyone in position Model the standard and coach Coordinators in the moment Lead setup and breakdown, delegating tasks clearly and fairly Games & Activity Facilitation Run and oversee all activities (Bubble Ball, Hamster Balls, Glow Dodgeball, Nerf, Archery Tag, and more) Demonstrate rules clearly, supervise actively, and keep energy high Watch for risky behavior and intervene early Stay engaged on the floor at all times. No standing around during gameplay. Facility & Quality Standards Ensure the lounge, field, and restrooms are clean, stocked, and reset between events Make sure the facility is guest-ready before the first guest arrives Complete required checklists and submit post-shift feedback Professionalism & Reliability Arrive on time and event-ready, in uniform, every shift Communicate availability and schedule needs early No phone use in guest-facing areas Receive feedback well and raise the bar for the whole team Qualifications 18+ required Comfortable and confident speaking to and entertaining groups of all ages (kids, teens, adults, corporate) Hosting, emceeing, performing, teaching, coaching, or camp counselor experience is a strong plus Prior leadership or event experience preferred Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Events run on tight timelines and the Lead sets the pace. Note:
Our events are typically scheduled between 9am-12am and occasionally run as late as 2am, so please include any availability within those windows. A big part of this job is hosting and emceeing: welcoming a group, hyping them up, and running high-energy games.
