Job Description

Overview JOURNEY is seeking a part-time Fundraising & Events Coordinator to support fundraising operations and event execution. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional interested in building broad experience in the nonprofit development field while advancing JOURNEY's mission to get more exceptional women leaders to the top. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative professional with a customer service mindset and experience coordinating projects, events, or programs. We are particularly interested in candidates who are excited about the opportunity to grow with the organization as responsibilities and needs evolve. Key Responsibilities Database & Operations Management Input and manage donor records, ensuring accurate gift tracking and data integrity Generate reports and dashboards to support fundraising and membership activities Support administrative processes and record-keeping across development operations Fundraising Support Support fundraising efforts across donor giving, sponsorship, membership, and events Prepare donor communications, proposals, reports, and other fundraising materials Track donor engagement and pipeline activity Events Work with internal and external stakeholders to support the planning and execution of public-facing events, including fundraisers, salon dinners, and leadership programs Coordinate event logistics, including project plans, registrations, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communications Support day-of-event operations to ensure a seamless participant experience Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience in fundraising, development, events, administrative support, or a related field Experience with data entry and record management, preferably in a CRM or donor database (e.g., Neon One, Salesforce, or similar systems) Experience coordinating projects, events, programs, or administrative processes Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and track details Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service mindset Ability to take initiative and work independently in a virtual environment while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Commitment to the mission and values of JOURNEY Additional Requirements This role requires periodic travel to in-person programs and events throughout the year The role may include hands-on event support, such as setting up materials, moving supplies, and lifting items up to 20-30 pounds Compensation Part-time contract position: $25 per hour for approximately 15 hours per week Not sure if you meet every qualification?
