We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sales and Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating and promoting a variety of events while supporting sales initiatives. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and organizational prowess will help us deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve our business goals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, event planning, and customer service within a vibrant environment. Duties Answering phones and making reservations. Responsible for in-house event reservations and rosters using Open Table and Microsoft Office Suite. Create event menus for private and in-house events using Canva Create allergy lists and signage for our events. Create menu signs for our weddings and other private parties. Support our sales office team in flexible and varied ways including making floor plans. Have good communication with our Kitchen Team to effectively relate menus and changes in event details. Requirements Proven experience in event marketing, event planning or hospitality environments such as restaurants or hotels is preferable. Excellent communication and customer service skills to engage with clients and team members confidently. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Familiarity with event management software or booking systems is preferred.
