Experience Requirements:

No prior experience required; customer service or event experience preferred. Forge Industrial Staffing in Livonia is currently seeking an Event Staff associate for an opening with an event management company located in downtown Detroit. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Requirements of Event Staff Must be able to work outdoors rain or shine Must wear black pants and black shoes Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to assist with event setup and teardown duties Benefits of Event Staff $17/hour Health/Vision/Dental Insurance Available Paid Time Off Referral Bonuses Employee Appreciation Day Responsibilities of Event Staff Thursday-Saturday (6:00am - 2:30pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm) Assist with crowd control and guest direction throughout the event Provide excellent customer service to event attendees Assist with cleaning and maintaining event areas Help with event setup and teardown activities This is a temporary position working May 29th through May 31st only.
