Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Wedding Day Assistant to join our events team at the Masonic Temple. This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role supporting the seamless execution of weddings from initial setup through final breakdown. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and committed to ensuring every detail is executed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the events team in executing wedding timelines and coordinating transitions throughout the day Ensure all event spaces are clean, organized, and prepared according to client specifications Work closely with vendors (caterers, florists, DJs, photographers) to facilitate smooth operations Monitor event flow and proactively address any issues or last-minute changes Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of event presentation and execution Assist with guest direction and general inquiries as needed Participate in post-event breakdown, including clearing spaces Follow all venue policies and safety procedures
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift and move event equipment Previous event or hospitality experience is an asset but not required
