Lead Events Coordinator Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, physically active, and detail-oriented Events Manager to lead our production team. This is a leadership role responsible for the physical and operational execution of events at our premier venue. You will oversee the transition of the space and manage the team to ensure every event is hosted flawlessly. You are the engine that ensures the venue remains pristine, the timeline stays on track, and the guest experience is unsurpassed.
Key Responsibilities & Leadership Duties:
Lead and supervise a team of event assistants; responsible for skill assessments and ensuring high performance during event execution.
Venue Transformation & Logistics:
Oversee physical floor plan changes, including specialized furniture setups according to the bride's chosen layout.
Vendor Leadership:
Act as the primary point of contact for all external vendors (caterers, florists, entertainment), directing load-in traffic and ensuring adherence to venue safety and placement guidelines.
Operational Excellence:
Open and close the venue during events; perform property walks to ensure the highest level of "Guest Welcome" experience, including landscaping, setup, and facility cleanliness.
Timeline & Production Support:
Manage event transitions and ceremony queues, assisting with technical production elements like lighting and climate control to maintain guest comfort.
Inventory & Client Communication:
Manage bar supply inventory and communicate directly with clients regarding specific event needs.
End-of-Night Strike Leadership:
Lead the teardown process, ensuring all venue decor is cleared and the facility is ready for the next day's turnover.
Requirements:
Mandatory Weekends:
Must be available every Friday & Saturday evening from 4:00pm- 12:00 am. May through December. Occasional Sundays and week day events may also occur.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in event leadership or a similar role.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to remain standing and moving for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift and safely lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs.
Certifications:
Bar T.I.P.S. Certified (or able to obtain certification within one month of hire).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality preferred but not required.
Skills:
Exceptional communication, professional demeanor under pressure, and proficiency in social media and standard office software. Compensation This is a tipped position. Compensation will be 20.00/hr plus tips
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
