We are looking to expand our team with a Venue Planner who will be in charge of all events for New Vintage Place, one of our Grand Rapids locations.
Role Summary:
Rye Venue Management is looking for a detail oriented, organized, and self starter to assist clients to plan their venue details in relation to their wedding and/or event. Our In-House Venue Planner will be responsible for managing event details for multiple venues. This position is a highly detailed role working with the owners, operators, and clients closely to ensure all details are organized and communicated perfectly from start to finish.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the wedding industry Bachelor's degree or higher required Proficient use of Google drive and Google workspace suite Experience in a professional office setting Knowledge of CRM systems or planning systems (Tripleseat, Cvent, or Nurture knowledge is a plus) Knowledge of how to create and manage floor plans, timelines and more Must be flexible to work nights and weekends if needed Responsibilities may include: Venue Tours Meetings with clients and vendors Gathering and organizing event details into manageable forms for the onsite team Communicating with clients to assist in planning Client file management and detail management Coordinating with managers during weekly meetings Online research of event industry practices, products, ideas, etc. Other duties as assigned
Work Environment:
This role operates in a professional office and event venue setting. Physical This role would require the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
