Job:
A tech company in the Building Automation/Controls industry is seeking a full-time, Event Coordinator in our corporate office in Madison Heights, MI. The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing national and multi-location events that support Cochrane Supply's strategic growth objectives. This role ensures a consistent brand experience, messaging, and execution across all regions, while managing events ranging from regional activations to large-scale national industry events. The Event Coordinator works cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to align event strategy with company initiatives. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and strategic planning skills to ensure all events are executed efficiently, within budget, and with measurable business impact.
Core duties and responsibilities include:
(other duties may be assigned as necessary) National vent strategy and planning Standardization and brand consistency. Budget management and reporting. Event logistics and execution. Vendor and sponsorship management. Marketing and promotional coordination. Travel and resource coordination. Customer experience and engagement. Post-event analysis and continued improvement. Cross functional collaboration. Executive administrative support. Other duties as assigned.
Necessary Experience & Qualifications:
3 - 5 Years' Minimum experience in event coordination Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Public Relations or related field. Must be comfortable traveling, with prior advance notice. Proficient in Office 365 products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, SharePoint and PowerBI. Candidates must be professional, have a positive attitude with outstanding verbal and written communication skills Position requires great attention to detail, strong organization and time management skills. Self-motivated. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
Hours, Salary, & Location:
Full time position, 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday at the Cochrane corporate HQ located in Madison Heights, MI. Salary negotiable based on experience.
