Job Description

Program & Events Intern Flight Expo Inc. Princeton, Minnesota Commute Time Position Overview Flight Expo is seeking a motivated and hands-on Aviation Program & Events Intern to support day-to-day operations and help bring aviation education to life. This is not a desk-only internship. Interns will be actively involved in programs, events, and outreach efforts; including traveling exhibits, community events, and behind-the-scenes operations that support our mission of promoting aviation through education and aircraft preservation. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain real experience in aviation programs, nonprofit operations, and event coordination. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day operations and program support Help organize and run community events, including fundraising activities such as garage sales Support outreach efforts, including the mobile cockpit experience and youth programs Travel to events such as EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and assist with setup, engagement, and logistics Help with setup, teardown, and coordination of displays and exhibits Provide general support to ensure programs and events run smoothly Ideal Candidate Positive, reliable, and willing to jump in where needed Comfortable working in hands-on, active environments (not just behind a desk) Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Enjoys working with people and being part of a team Interest in aviation, education, or nonprofit work is a plus Able to lift, move, and assist with event setup as needed Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in aviation programs and nonprofit operations Exposure to events, outreach, and fundraising efforts Opportunities to attend and support major aviation events Direct involvement in programs that impact youth and the community Job Information
