In this role, you will provide operational support for all Conservatory's performances and productions. This position will work collaboratively with the production team to ensure the success of all productions. Duties included, but not limited to: Schedule and coordinate all student/faculty recitals and performances for the Conservatory both on and off campus. This can include over +400 events in a calendar year. Manage and coordinate the annual performance calendar for all Conservatory performances both on and off campus. This includes coordination of rehearsals, masterclasses, guest artist, and all non-course related events in the unit. Manage the hiring and training of ushers/stage managers, and student workers for events. This includes creating assignments to cover dress rehearsals and performances. Manage the training, recruitment and assignments of volunteers. Maintain the Volunteer Lounge and restock hospitality items as needed. Schedule and coordinate all student/faculty recitals and performances. Collect payment information as required Manage the scheduling of sound and video recording in conjunction with the Conservatory Recording Studio. Handle all Non-Conservatory event inquires and facilitate the reservations, planning, and coordination of the event with enforcement of all production and Conservatory policies. Handle reservations, planning, and coordination of performances, stages, and enforce all production and Conservatory policies. Maintain and prepare all correspondence in relation to scheduling and events for production staff, records, distribution lists, rosters for staffing. Coordinate with Leadership with the development of the overall production/scheduling calendar Handle reservations, planning, and coordination of performances, stages, and enforce all policies Oversee the following operational functions: rental and sign out of Conservatory instruments, keys, and lockers, all billing for recital fees, program fees, recording fees, locker fees, and any extra fees applied to student accounts Other duties as assigned. Shift The position may require working an occasional evening and/or weekend, depending on the event. The Event Scheduling Coordinator will report to the Associate Dean of Performance/Facilities Management. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications Thorough knowledge of, or a background in, music, dance, or theatre are strongly preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $22.10 -$23.75 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
