Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and creative Event Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing a variety of events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously planned and executed to meet client expectations. This role requires strong communication skills, organization, communication, a flair for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Develop and manage event concepts from inception through execution, including logistics, catering, and venue selection. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event. Coordinate with vendors, including hotels, restaurants, and banquet facilities, to secure services and negotiate contracts. Implement marketing strategies to promote events and drive attendance. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and during events. Manage on-site event operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from setup to breakdown. Upsell additional services or enhancements to clients as appropriate. Experience Proven experience in event planning or hospitality management is preferred. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for building relationships with clients and vendors. Experience in marketing events or promotions is a plus.
