00 Minimum Experience/Education Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior undergraduate student, or graduate student Pursuing a degree in sport management, business, communications, marketing, or a related field
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Interest in or familiarity with college athletics and/or athletic fundraising Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with donors and stakeholders Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative on assigned projects Availability to work evenings, weekends, and select holidays, particularly around athletic events Valid U.S. driver's license Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for active and prospective 49er Club donors through phone and email communication Manage a small portfolio of annual giving donors with the goal of building relationships and advancing them through the donor pipeline Assist in the planning and execution of donor stewardship initiatives and engagement strategies Support special events, donor hospitality, and gameday operations for football and men's basketball Coordinate preparation of key gameday spaces, including press box and hospitality areas Develop internal and external materials such as agendas, presentations, and promotional materials Manage and track office and gameday inventory to ensure operational readiness Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency, enhance membership growth, and increase overall giving Represent Charlotte Athletics at events and community engagement opportunities Serve as a liaison between the 49er Club and campus partners, including the Alumni Association and Foundation Utilize systems such as Paciolan and Salesforce for ticketing, payment processing, and donor engagement tracking Complete required trainings, including PCI compliance, security awareness, and University policies Maintain compliance with NCAA and American Athletic Conference regulations Deliver a high level of customer service in all donor and stakeholder interactions Perform additional duties as assigned Other Work/Responsibilities Necessary Licenses or Certifications Proposed Hire Date 08/03/2026 Contact Information Expected Length of Assignment 10m Posting Open Date 06/04/2026 Posting Close Date 06/18/2026 Special Notes to Applicants
