Job Description The Event Coordinator & Lifestyle Support Representative works with the management team, and in support of the Lifestyle Director and team, to ensure that residents have a variety of activities, events & fitness options to enjoy. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist the Lifestyle Team in planning, coordinating, and implementing appropriate programs, based on celebration or program topic. Work with community, instructors, site maintenance, and other groups to ensure quality experiences. Identify activities, coordinate site and instruction need, and ensure community programs happen as scheduled. Help plan, lead, and motivate residents to participate in daily planned activities. Set-up and change room equipment based on requested set-ups from residents and activities. Assist with managing reservations for reservable spaces amongst different groups. Administrative Duties as assigned. Requirements 1-2 years event and program planning experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills:
ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office Suite and basic IT equipment. High school diploma required. Lift and move furniture items of up to 50lbs. Be able to adjust schedule frequently to include afternoons, nights, and weekends, depending on events and activities. Scheduled days are Tuesday - Saturday. Must be able to work until 7:00pm. Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, pull/push, grasp, twist, reach above shoulder, walk, stoop, kneel and climb. Must be able to use hands and fingers to input data to information system; and talk or hear in order to gather and provide information on departmental processes.
