Job Description

Reporting to the Business Support Leader, this role will focus on delivering high-quality local coordination and business support for the Clinical Operations Team, with a strong emphasis on on-site meeting and event logistics, onboarding support for new hires, and broader administrative and operational activities. Moving forward, the role may also include Personal Support for ClinOps Leaders or Business Support for Clinical Program Teams. Your accountabilities Coordinate on-site meetings, team events and local office-based activities, ensuring all logistics are planned and delivered smoothly and professionally, It includes room bookings, room set-up, catering and hospitality arrangements. Act as a key local contact for logistics and administrative coordination for the Durham-based team. Support onboarding activities for new hires, including office-based orientation and operational coordination to ensure a smooth and professional start. Prepare and manage Purchase Orders in Coupa and coordinate related administrative processes in line with internal procedures. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external providers and global colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality support service, including knowledge sharing within the Business Support team. Use technology and internal tools effectively to manage requests, improve ways of working and propose efficient solutions. Plan, organize and prioritize workload effectively, ensuring activities are completed accurately and on time. Moving forward, provide Personal Support for ClinOps Leaders or Business Support for Clinical Program Teams, as required. Essential requirements for the role Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years of experience Experience in office coordination, team support, event coordination, hospitality coordination or administrative support Experience in the PA arena Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously Strong customer service mindset and a proactive, solution-oriented approach Good communication and interpersonal skills Fluent English skills Confidence working with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint Ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a professional on-site experience A self-starter mindset with flexibility and a hands-on approach Desirable experience for the role: Experience of working in a pharma or healthcare environment Date Posted 22-May-2026 Closing Date 28-May-2026 Our mission is to build an inclusive environment where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and employees.
