Your role and responsibilities As a Client Experience Marketing Event Strategist, you will balance strategic thinking, flawless operational management, and a passion for delivering exceptional attendee experiences to drive IBM growth. You will partner across various teams to design and deliver events that connect audiences to IBM's innovation, turning engagement into measurable business outcomes.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Drive Event Strategy and Outcomes:
Partner with demand generation, field marketing, and partner acceleration teams to define event objectives, target audiences, and success metrics that align to business goals. This includes developing a deep understanding of the target audience and designing events that meet their needs and interests.Design Impactful Client Journeys:
Develop integrated event experiences, including branding, content, and engagement strategies, focused on capturing and converting client interest into pipeline and revenue. This requires a keen understanding of the client's needs and preferences.- Execute Events with
Excellence:
Manage all end-to-end event processes and tools, ensuring alignment with IBM's standards for audit, legal, and financial compliance. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.Optimize Event Performance:
Maintain a relentless focus on post-event performance, leveraging a robust Response Lead Management (RLM) plan to ensure consistent pre- and post-event follow-up across field and sales teams. This involves analyzing event results and extracting performance insights to inform future event strategies.
Innovate and Lead:
Provide thought leadership in event innovation, continuously improving processes, tools, and client engagement models to elevate IBM's event ecosystem. This requires staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and growth. Experience providing thought leadership in event innovation, continuously improving processes, tools, and client engagement models to elevate the event ecosystem, with a focus on staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
